“Wood Wizard’s House Wash” is a cleaning solution designed specifically for cleaning the exterior of any home. Vinyl, cedar shake, aluminum, concrete, brick or any other type of exterior can be cleaned with very low pressure. Our House Wash does the work when applied with our low pressure (100 psi) soft wash machine. After the House Wash is applied, it can be rinsed almost immediately using the soft was system. The system works by applying our proprietary blend of chemical to the exterior of ANY home. The chemical will kill any mold, lichens, or algae on the surface. After a brief dwell period, the home will be washed with fresh water revealing INSTANT results. The rinse will also dilute the mix rendering any runoff completely harmless to surrounding plants, grass etc.

HOUSE WASH PACKAGE
All vinyl sided house wash packages include the removal of organic growth, dirt, and pollen from siding, fascia, soffits, window frames and shutters. Exterior gutters are included for FREE. However, gutters may have black stains, many times in a vertical pattern, known as "Zebra Stripes". These stains often require a gutter brighterning process or painting for an additional cost.
*Vinyl siding may be oxidized. Oxidation is white chalk looking residue. It appears as sunlight breaks down the vinyl. This may be due to years of sunlight exposure and may appear earlier if a house has been "power washed" as the pressure removes the clear coat designed to protect the vinyl from sun damage. Oxidation may be visible after a house wash as the dirt and mold etc. have been removed and oxidation may may run while rinsing. It will most likely blend back in after a few weeks. Oxidation is a pre-existing substance ans is in no way caused by soft-washing.
*Tiny black spots known as "Artillery or Shotgun fungus" may be visible after a house wash. This fungus is found near mulch or wood chips. The spores shoot out and attach to siding or anything within 6-8 feet. They will most likely fall off after a short period of time. They can only be immediately removes using pressure. Doing so may result in a brighter red colored stain in place of where the spore is removed as well as cause damage to the siding.
Why not power wash?
Power washing can be time consuming and harmful to the exterior of a home. Power washing may cause cracks in many types of siding and be extremely damaging to wood. Cedar shake siding is very soft and can be destroyed if cleaned with too much pressure. Power washing can also cause whats called a “Zorro” pattern. This is when high pressure is applied leaving what appears to be stripes or “Z” shapes from the pattern in which the contractor was cleaning with the power wash wand.
